In May 2022, we ran an online consultation to see what our members thought of the national pay offer for 2022/23. We had a strong response, with 83% choosing to reject the 3% offer.
With energy, fuel and food costs rising, your pay should be rising too. This offer is not a fair exchange for your hard work and dedication every year. We will shortly be sending ballot papers in the post from 30 November 2022.
We’re asking you to VOTE YES for strike action.
Striking is the best way to get your voice heard and tell your employers that you are worth more than what they are offering. Nineteen UNISON branches are already taking strike action, and UCU, Unite, EIS and GMB are also going on strike too.
