In support of the University of Sussex LGBTQ+ Staff Network and the Trans & Non-Binary Staff Network we woud like to share this message with our members about the upcoming Trans Pride activities this July:
In honour of Brighton Trans Pride on Friday 14 July to Sunday 16 July 2023, and to mark the monumental 10 year anniversary of the event, the LGBTQ+ Staff Network is working in collaboration with the Trans & Non-Binary Staff Network, Student Trans & Non-Binary Society, and Student LGBTQ+ Society, to proudly showcase the work and talents of our Trans and Non-Binary students, staff, alumni, and allies.
The exhibition will take place at the Meeting House on Tuesday 11 July 2023.
If you would like to contribute to the showcase, we welcome you to complete this form by Monday 26 June 2023.
Examples of contributions may include:
- Creative.
- Hobbies/interests.
- Work/academic related.
- Trans & Non-Binary charity/business related.
As part of the exhibition, we would love to share quotes from our Trans and Non-Binary colleagues and students about what makes them proud. If you would like to share your voice, please email your quote to lgbt-staff@sussex.ac.uk. Please be aware that we can anonymise your name at the exhibition, if you would like to share but would like to remain anonymous. Please state this in your email if this is your preference.
